Swim For A Mile Charity Partner 2026

We are delighted to announce that once again Swim Ireland’s Swim for A Mile Programme will partner with Children’s Health Foundation as it’s charity partner for the 2026 challenge. Children’s Health Foundation was established in 2019, with the mission of “working together to provide world-class facilities, research and compassionate, loving care for every sick child in Ireland”.
This mission continues to be supported by SFAM.
Since 2023, Swim Irelands, Swim for a Mile programme has raised over €30,000 for Children’s Health Foundation and again in 2026 Swim Ireland will donate €5 from every entry fee to support the amazing work of Children’s Health Foundation.
With huge thanks to everyone who has donated in the past, we hope again we can provide some much-needed support to this amazing organisation.
Children’s Health Foundation raises vital funds to support sick children and their families in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres – from funding vital life-saving equipment and providing essential patient and parental supports to making ground-breaking, paediatric research possible. We can find no better cause to support than that of Children’s Health Foundation.
So how can you donate? SFAM is already up and running for 2026. To find an event near you, you can sign up and donate a specified amount or, if you are up for it, you can create your own campaign to share with family and friends. Campaigns can be set up at the dedicated Children’s Health Foundation Fundraising Page.
Either way, we ask you to share this incredible cause by telling everyone you know about SFAM 2026. Swimming a mile is always more fun with friends and family beside you in the pool, to push you all the way!
