2026 Swim For a Mile Indoor Challenge Event Schedule
We are pleased to announce that Swim Ireland will be hosting our Flagship Swim for a Mile event in Dublin at the National Aquatic Centre on Saturday April 11th. This is an event that you will not want to miss. With Music, prizes and a party atmosphere it will surely get you to that mile….
We are also working with facilities to finalise some more regional based events in 2026. Information will be updated in early January 2026, ready for you to set those goals for the start of 2026.
Pools listed below will also provide weekly coached training, available from January to help you prepare for your Swim For a Mile event.

Swim For a Mile (SFAM) events offer the half mile (800m) and full mile (1600m) options. On event day, you will be greeted by supportive staff who will be with you throughout your swim, counting your laps, timing you and of course cheering you on! SFAM events are all about completing your swim at your own pace, with all the support you need!
